Why WorldFood Istanbul 2025 is a Must-Attend B2B Event
For over three decades, WorldFood Istanbul has served as a vital platform connecting global food and beverage companies with Turkey’s top buyers and influencers in the industry. By facilitating face-to-face meetings with retail and wholesale representatives, this B2B exhibition enables exhibitors to expand sales, launch products, and tap into Turkey’s rapidly growing import market—now estimated at close to €1 billion. Social trends such as urbanization, convenience-focused lifestyles, and rising incomes continue to fuel demand for diverse food and drink offerings. As a result, import opportunities for foreign companies in Turkey have grown steadily.
WorldFood Istanbul provides direct access to a focused audience of retailers, wholesalers, and procurement specialists—all in one place. How to Reach the Worldfood Istanbul
WorldFood Istanbul 2025 takes place at the TÜYAP Fair and Congress Center in the Büyükçekmece district—one of the largest and most accessible exhibition venues in Turkey. Here’s how to get there:
Metrobus (BRT):
The Kadıköy–Beylikdüzü metrobus line runs parallel to the D100 (E-5) highway. TÜYAP is the final stop on this line. This offers one of the easiest and fastest ways to reach the venue from across Istanbul.
Railway Transfers:
You can transfer to the metrobus from multiple rail lines:
- M2 metro (Yenikapı–Hacıosman) at Zincirlikuyu
- M4 metro (Kadıköy–Tavşantepe) via Uzunçayır
- Tram lines and other metro stations such as Mecidiyeköy, Zeytinburnu, and Edirnekapı connect to the metrobus system.
By Car:
Accessible from Istanbul’s major highways (E5, TEM). From Tem, take the Bahçeşehir–Avcılar exit, then head toward Büyükçekmece to reach the TÜYAP entrance. The venue offers ample on-site parking.
By Shuttle or Taxi:
For shuttle users, free shuttles often run from key locations such as Taksim, Esenler bus terminal, and Marmaray transfer points. Taxi or ride-share from central neighborhoods or airports (Istanbul or Sabiha Gökçen) is also straightforward, though traffic may extend travel time.
